Education that sails toward new opportunities

Access to quality education is essential for the community’s development. Our goal is to build new classrooms at the Vicente Mamallacta School, providing an improved learning environment for children and youth. Additionally, we will strengthen bilingual intercultural education, promoting Kichwa and Spanish instruction to preserve the community’s cultural identity.

The tambería is a canoe-based river transport system that allows children to travel daily along the Amazon’s rivers to attend Vicente Mamallacta School. This service is essential in a territory where distances and geography make access to education difficult, ensuring safe travel, consistent school attendance, and reducing dropout rates.

Provides nutritious meals during the school day, supporting students’ physical and cognitive development. It also improves concentration and academic performance, while supporting families and encouraging school attendance.

Will feature digital screens and updated educational resources, providing access to interactive content. This space will promote reading, research, and independent learning, integrating modern educational approaches connected to a global environment.

A new space will be created, equipped with essential technological tools where students can develop key digital skills for their future. This center will strengthen academic learning, reduce the digital gap, and open new opportunities for education within the community.
